1. Check before charging
Check if the battery and wiring are intact, and open the air cap. The liquid filling plug on the battery cannot be opened or removed. Do not add liquid before or during charging. Smoking, sparks, and open flames are prohibited near the battery. Do not repair the battery during the charging process. Do not discharge the battery while charging. The temperature of the electrolyte during charging should be below 55 ℃. Do not place metal tools on the battery while charging.
2. During the charging process, the electrolyte temperature should not exceed 55 ℃, otherwise emergency measures such as reducing the charging current, suspending charging, or manual cooling should be taken.
3. If it is a new battery, cool the electrolyte at a specific gravity of 1.26 to 30 ℃ and then inject it into the battery. The injection volume is 10-20mm higher than the protective plate. Then wait quietly for 6 hours until the liquid temperature drops below 35 ℃ before charging begins.
4. When the voltage of a single battery drops to 1.7V, the voltage on the voltmeter is 41V (driving load), and the electrolysis density drops to 1.18, it should be charged in a timely manner.
5. When the battery is charged to saturation, the voltage and electrolyte density will not increase within 2-3 hours, and a large number of bubbles will appear. The specific gravity of the electrolyte will reach 1.26, and the battery voltage will reach 2.4V.
6. At the end of battery charging, use distilled water or dilute sulfuric acid with a specific gravity of 1.4 to adjust the electrolyte density to 1.26 and maintain a sufficient height. The specific gravity of the electrolyte should be recorded at the beginning and end of battery charging.
7. Batteries should not be placed near sparks, open flames, or heat sources. After charging, place the fuel cap on the back cover, wipe off any spilled electrolyte, and apply some Vaseline to keep the connector clean and dry. Battery flushing can only be performed when the battery is lifted off the vehicle.
8. The battery charging environment requires good ventilation around the battery. The temperature of the ventilation equipment in the battery charging room should not exceed 40 ℃ to avoid explosions caused by mixed gases during battery charging and to ensure air flow in the charging room.
